The Army Housing Division is responsible for policy, prioritization, resourcing and oversight of Housing and Lodging programs that service and support Soldiers and Families worldwide. The division is comprised of three branches; Government-Owned Housing, Privatized Housing & Lodging, and Career Program 27 (Housing Management).
Each branch has a distinct role in the Installation Management community that ranges from providing advocacy for Family, Unaccompanied and Community Housing to providing policy compliance, prioritization, resourcing and oversight of 34 Residential Communities Initiatives (RCI) projects, 5 Unaccompanied Privatized Housing projects and one Privatization of Army Lodging (PAL) project. In addition, the Division serves as the primary advocate within the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9 for the Army Barracks Management Program (ABMP) and Career Program 27.
The Army Housing Division provides Soldiers and Families a quality of life commensurate with their service and sacrifice.
