Drew White serves as director, Installation Services, Deputy Chief of Staff, G-9, where he is responsible for policies, programs, and resources for Housing, Environmental programs, and Logistics on Army installations worldwide. As the director, he provides expert advice, data analytics and assistance on matters addressing the well-being of Soldiers, Families and Army Civilians who live, work, and train on Army Installations.
In his housing portfolio, Mr. White implements housing policy which includes leveraging private/public-sector partnerships and identifying best practices to deliver efficiencies in Army housing programs.
In environmental and BRAC programs, Mr. White serves as execution authority on behalf of the Army to establish environmental program priorities and approve work plans. He develops regulations, strategic plans, implementation guidance, and environmental program direction for the Army.
Mr. White’s purview over logistics includes installations’ non-tactical vehicle (NTV) leasing, procurement, and maintenance, fire and emergency services, laundry and dry cleaning, civilian inmate labor, and administrative office furniture.
Mr. White was appointed to the Senior Executive Service in August 2021 and assumed his position as director, Installation Services, in June 2024.
